Nourishing Neighbours

The Story behind ASK Foundation
homeless feeding programs

Our Nourishing Neighbours program feeds 400 people across Canada every week.

Our volunteers and sponsors help us assemble the meal bags and deliver them to the homeless.

With food and water being basic necessities to live, providing these essentials to the homeless population ensures that they are at least receiving one nutritious meal through our Nourishing Neighbours project.

On average, a homeless individual will receive $1.40 per day from panhandling. With this, they struggle to even buy a coffee, let alone a meal.

On any given night, there are more than 5,000 homeless people in Toronto alone and another 1,500+ in Hamilton.
